This is my second photo course with Smithsonian. Last winter I took and introductory/basics course after buying an entry-level Nikon DSLR kit.
I am retired and hope to get inspired to get out and put my camera through its paces. I'm sure my camera has dozens of features that I haven't explored yet.
I especially enjoy landscape photography and would like to do more with buildings and architecture around the Washington area. By the end of this course I hope to have a better feel for composition and lighting and begin to experiment with editing and various post-production techniques.
