Gosh, we see / do this all the time now - mix b+w and color. I like the way the blur dog and wood gives a feeling of - dogness, like the little details of web on river birch and spring leaves are somehow, impossibly, red and green and yellow at the same time. I love your focus catching that light and falling especially on the tender tip. in the pink flowers, i love the lighrt falling on one blossom in particular and the star shaped calyx (I'll call it that) the light on and through the petal, brilliant side light stones.
Not sure what the tradition of placing rocks on the tombstone is about, but in the image, the rocks feel heavy and final, while also bing a loving tribute.
