Smithsonian after class by Virginia


 I've tried this framing before, and never actually taken the shot.  It seems to need the bare trees of winter so that enough of the building can be seen to create a center of attention.

Loved the texture of the leaves.

    Thanks for getting things going, Virginia. I like the contrasting styles - modern moon gate and exuberant Victorian, as if the past is receding. That is a great plant, and still vibrantly green and alive.
