I am seeing these after Brookside this morning, and hearing your comment about the buds, a revelation in their own stages of contained energy as you show, including #2, perfectly straightforward and singular. Number 1 shows there were many more yet to come, and Number 5 shows they are round as a ball before flattening as om 2, then bursting forth like 4. Summer's potent energy!
